We will always remember that our mission, vision and moral principles are pegged on love and hope to abandoned, neglected and abused children through the provision of education, health and empowerment in a bid to make them achieve their God given potentials.

 

Hereunder are the various advocacies to be worked upon:

EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP

​

Under this advocacy activity, we intend to deal with the following programmes:

  1. To provide scholarship for Technical College students

  2. To sponsor studies for Commission on Driving Licence (CDL)/Machine Operators) for men

  3. To provide scholarship for College Education

  4. To sponsor studies for Grade School/Primary and Secondary School for the children (Miscellaneous fees)

 

How to execute these Programs:

  • Technical College:

We have identified 5 potential students who will require three years training to obtain a Diploma.

  • Commission on Driving License (CDL)/machine operators.

Under this category we have identified 15 people.

  • College Education

Under this category we have 10 people to be sponsored.

  • Grade school/primary and secondary school for the children (miscellaneous fees)

We have earmarked 70 students i.e. 40 students for primary school and 30 for secondary school.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Children with HIV need both Medical and Nutritional Support.

LIVELIHOOD SKILLS FOR WOMEN

​

Under this heading we have women who have been neglected by this spouses. Therefore, they are in need of a certain economic activity to make them earn a living for the family.

Hereunder are the programmes we have identified:

  1. Cookery – 20

  2. Cosmetology – 20

  3. Embroidery – 20

  4. Agriculture – 40

VALUES FORMATION FOR THE FAMILY

Essentially, these abandoned children are spiritually empty. Therefore, a need to build them spiritually so that they can fit in well in the society. In our country we have two main religions i.e. Christians and Moslems. Therefore we shall deal with them separately i.e there will be spiritual sessions for Christians and spiritual sessions for Moslems.

CHILD SUPPORT FOR ABANDONED CHILDREN

There are two groups in this category

  1. Those with single parents (mothers)

  2. Those with no parents at all under this advocacy we need two programmes

  3. Legal action and DNA testing for the first category.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

​

Under this Advocacy, we need to construct some shelter/home for the children as one for the specifically abandoned children which will be about USD 50,000. To fulfil this requirement, we need a piece of land measuring approximately two combined football grounds to catler also for some gardening and general agricultural activities/playground. There will be four beds with mattresses per room, an estate manager together with some salaried personnel to manage the environment on a day to day basis.
